Truman is on the left...his buddy Lucky is on the right. They're really good friends...they wrestle all the time. But last week, Kev was at his friend Nagy's house to spend the night and hang out and do boy stuff, whatever, and Tru and Lucky were playing hard the first day. Then the next day, Truman's hips were hurting him (he has severa hip displaysia, for those of you who are new here) and wasn't in the mood to play. Lucky kept humping him and trying to get him to wrestle and Truman gave him a warning snip and Lucky went for him. So, my boy, the killer that he is, retaliated and put Lucky in the hospital. I guess that they went after each other at the same time, moths open, and Truman's tooth caught Lucky's gum and tore it open. Lucky had to have his tooth removed in that spot later that day. !!! They're still buddies, though, and thank god Nagy is still our buddy too. You come to kind of expect these things when you own pit bulls. But! Everyone has to know what sweet dogs they are. Lucky has a past of attacking other dogs and Truman, well, he'll fight back if someone gets him first, but in general he's not the fight starter. He just likes to cuddle and sleep on your head.
